And words can wrap around his mouth
Like duck tape,
Forceful and silent.
And hate speech can coil
Around a man
Till he is bound from hand to foot
In fear
And discrimination
Can stuff a rag down a man’s throat
Till he chokes

 anyway this poem is about a piece of graphite on the wall in the girls bathroom that said "i hope all black people die" a black friend of mine talked about how this effected her personally and this is just what came to mind... |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
